Sometimes I Get Tired

Yes, sometimes I overdo it and sometimes, I am not not tired, but exhausted.

I read a quote from Saint Dominic Savio today that says “Nothing seems tiresome or painful when you work for a Master who pays well”.   Well said.

Even though I am tired it doesn’t seem it to me because I do love what I do. Whether it is working with the teens or changing up the SLG website or videotaping or editing through the night. Or whether it is putting Kevin to bed when I have nothing left. I love every last minute. So when I am tired, I will remember that.  I push myself to continue on because love is a choice and I choose to work for a master who pays well. He pays with His love because he loves me with His whole heart, His whole mind, His whole soul and His whole strength.

Let’s Communicate

Hey all,

This will be a great way to communicate since it is hard to do that on the Remind App which only allows 144 characters.

We will be having a meeting this Sunday from 3 to 5.  I am surveying everyone to see what they would like most;  visiting the seniors, AAC time, activities, etc.  Please let me know if you have a preference or have other ideas.  This is your group and I want you to be able to do things you enjoy most.

Also, Mr Manzi who is our Parish Administrator, is currently enrolled in a Master’s Program at Villanova University and would appreciate your assistance for a class in Stewardship that he is taking.

If you could respond to the following question

What does the word “PARISH” signify to You?

There is no right or wrong answer and your response would be SO appreciated by him.

Seeing Ourselves Through God’s Eyes

Please go to the parish website:  stleothegreat.com to read today’s Gospel according to Matthew 23:1-12.  Then click for   Today’s Reflection

Today’s questions for reflection.

1) Is there someone in your life that you think are “superior” than yourself?  Why?

2) What can you do to shift your thinking to recognize that we are all equally important to God?

3) How can I more clearly see myself through God’s eyes?
